Several of our Young Disciples were away on vacation but that still left a great group who showed up and did a great job running
the carnival.
Lance, one of the advisors, gave some final instructions and a pep talk!
The Young Disciples offers our youth a great opportunity to experience Christian fellowship.
The Moon Bounce was very popular.
A big thank you to Maeve Bradley for doing the face painting.
Meanwhile the adults made a beeline to the lobster roll table.
Everyone has fun at the carnival including the young at heart.
We had popcorn...
Snow Cones....
And cotton candy...although Zoe seemed to be a little puzzled by the cones.
And popcorn...
Leah enjoyed her job as cashier.
The petting zone and pony rides attracted a lot of attention.
New this year was an egg toss contest.
Our co-CE Director was a good sport and got a bit of an egg bath.
Scott got a little messy as well.
Our winners - it was a tie.
This year Rev was smart and got a wet suit for the dunk tank. Of course everyone thought it was funny because he put the
wet suit on backwards.
The temperature at 7 a.m. was 55 degree - but warmed up into the 70's. The water though was still cold.
Everyone wanted a chance to dunk the Rev.
And many succeeded.
