Alice Long Memorial Service
Alice was a long-time member here at Union Congregational Church. She was very involved with Frosty's Fair and she started the Elegant Elephants room which quickly became a popular destination at the fair. Alice and her husband Joe also hosted the Sunday morning coffee hour for several years and together they delivered Christmas poinsettias and Easter lilies to our at home members and others at nursing homes and the Senior Citizens' Center. They also worked side-by-side serving lobster bisque every year at the Lenten Luncheons.
Alice will be greatly missed and we hold her family in our prayers. That especially includes her husband Joe. The two of them grew up together and attended school here in town and were married for 63 years.
