Confirmation Service Project

This past Sunday, our confirmation class headed to My Brother's Table where they prepared and served meals to those in need. They reported that is was more fun than they expected. They shared about some of their favorite people that they met, including the woman who continuously blessed them for a whole long list of things, or the man who asked for so many cups of coffee that by the end of the afternoon, the confirmands knew exactly how he liked his coffee. The confirmands made themselves right at home, fist bumping the clients as they left. It was a wonderful reminder of the kindness and light we can share with others and sometimes we can find that same kindness and light when we least expect it.
