Youth Group

Youth Group

Our youth group meets on Friday evenings from 7:00-8:30 and is open to anyone in grades 6-12. Church membership is not required and friends are always welcome. We rotate through four types of evenings together.

  • Fellowship Night: Growing together and deepening our relationship with God through team-building and interactive games

  • Game Night: Board games, active games, mysteries, something different every time.

  • Service Project: Serving others in the community through food, crafts, and other ways to support their needs.

  • Big Bang: Monthly outings to different events or activities in the area to just have fun and be together. (We do ask that youth participate in the monthly service project or complete another act of service before attending the Big Bang).

Movie Night

Our youth group got cozy with a movie night. They came to church in their pjs and brought blankets and pillows. They kicked back with snacks and enjoyed watching “Elf” before playing a quick game of their beloved Ghosts in the Graveyard.

Fellowship Night: Gratitude

Our youth group had a Fellowship Night where they dove deep into what gratitude means. They made a gratitude chain with each link containing something for which they are thankful. Everyone was invited to add to this chain during coffee hour.

Big Bang: Boda Borg

Our youth group went on our monthly Big Bang outing to the much beloved Boda Borg where we had a blast trying to complete a variety of challenges and puzzles!

Service Project: Meals on Wheels

Our youth group worked on their October service project, making these adorable pumpkin tray favors for Meals on Wheels.

Big Bang: Corn Maze

Our youth group had a great time at our annual flashlight corn maze Big Bang. We tried a new spot this year and loved Kimball Farm.

Some groups were a little (okay, a lot) quicker than others but we all enjoyed getting lost in the dark!

Fellowship Night: Trust, Teamwork, and Peanut Butter & Jelly

Our Youth Group met for a Fellowship Night where they learned that life (and sandwich-making) is so much better when we work together.
