High School Youth Group

High School Youth Group

Our High School Youth group meets on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm and is open to anyone in grades 9-12. Church membership is not required and friends are always welcome. We rotate through four types of evenings together.

  • Fellowship Night: Growing together and deepening our relationship with God through team-building and interactive games

  • Game Night: Board games, active games, mysteries, something different every time.

  • Service Project: Serving others in the community through food, crafts, and other ways to support their needs.

  • Big Bang: Monthly outings to different events or activities in the area to just have fun and be together. (We do ask that youth participate in the monthly service project or complete another act of service before attending the Big Bang).

Fellowship Night: All Saints’ Day

We had an All Saints' themed Fellowship Night where we made an altar and brought or chose photos of personal or historical saints. We talked about how they see the cloud of witnesses working in their life and what traits they want to emulate from their saints. Some of these traits included: playfulness, doing the right thing, speaking up even when it's hard, being kind and loving all of God's children and several others as well. We then finished up with ice cream and of course offered some ice cream to our saints too!

Game Night: Flashlight Tag

For our October game night, we headed down the hill to the Batchelder Field for a game of flashlight tag!

Service Project: Boo Bags

We made some "boo bags" for some of our church members and they had fun (safely) running around in the dark to deliver these surprise bags of Halloween treats!

Big Bang: Screeemfest

Our High School Youth Group headed to Screeemfest to get spooky! Some of the youth members made some new "friends" and some stayed as far away as possible!

Fellowship Night: Bread Bake

Our High School youth group baked bread for our congregation to celebrate the Sacrament of Communion in celebration of Worldwide Communion Sunday.

Service Project: Welcome Back Carnival

Our High School Youth Group helped set up and run a variety of games and food stations at our annual Welcome Back Carnival.
